How much shade does it actually give?

Small: 2.1m × 1.5m
Medium: 2.1m × 2.1m
Large: 3m × 3m

The fabric stretches when set up, giving you even more shade. The two-pole design also lets you angle the shelter with the sun, providing better coverage in the morning and afternoon—not just at midday.

Will it actually blow away?

No. Chill Hut has been tested in winds of 50km/h+ when properly set up.

Is it really that light?

Small: 1.8kg
Medium: 2.2kg
Large: 2.8kg

The Medium packs down to just 53 × 15 × 15cm, making it much smaller than a standard beach cabana.

How long does it take to set up?

One person. Two minutes. Done.

Will it fit in my car?

Yes. The Medium packs down to 53 × 15 × 15cm, making it compact enough to fit easily in most vehicles.

Is it possible to add more poles?

Absolutely. Additional poles can be purchased separately. Adding another pair removes the rear slope of the Hut and slightly increases the shaded area.

Our Huts are designed to provide optimal shade and excellent wind resistance using just two poles, so the extra poles aren't necessary—but they are a great upgrade if you'd like even more coverage.

We offer free delivery on orders over $80.

All in-stock items are dispatched from the Sunshine Coast, usually the same day or the next business day.

Estimated delivery times:

East Coast: 3–7 business days
West Coast & Remote Areas: 5–12 business days

We take great care to ensure every order arrives in perfect condition. If your product arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete, or isn't as described (such as receiving the wrong colour), we'll happily arrange a refund or exchange.

Is the fabric good with sun and sand?

Absolutely. We never compromise on material quality and always use premium fabrics in the production of our Huts.

Our Lycra fabric is the same type of material commonly used for swimsuits and swimwear, making it specifically designed to withstand exposure to sun, sand, salt water, and chlorine.
