 It all started with two mates — George and Tommy — on the Sunshine Coast. We live for long, sun-soaked days surfing, swimming, and hanging at the beach under the blazing Aussie sun.

After countless weekends parked up on the sand, we kept hitting the same snag: setting up shade was always a hassle. Everywhere we looked, people were dragging around heavy gazebos and dealing with fiddly, complicated setups.

That’s when the idea hit — what if there was a sunshade that was actually made for the beach?

Something lightweight. Easy to carry. Quick to set up. And made for real beach life.

That’s how Chill Hut was born.
