Spread the hut, ropes and sand anchors flat on the sand in an X shape.

Chill Hut has been tested in 40km/h winds when properly set up.

Face the opening into the wind so air flows through. Fill the anchors right up, and in strong wind bury them and angle the poles slightly into the breeze.

Is it possible to add more poles?

Of course! There is an option to purchase separate poles in addition to the kit. Adding a second pair lifts the back of the Hut, so you get more room to sit underneath. The shaded area stays the same. Our Huts are designed to give great shade and hold strong in the wind with just two poles, so extra poles aren't necessary, but they're a nice upgrade if you want more headroom.
